*NEW* The report of an IBSA-funded project to evaluate and report on the relevance and potential application of TAE10 skill sets as VET workforce development tools within enterprise RTOs is now available to members.

The LMS Special Interest group has developed a Register of Learning Management Systems currently being used by ERTOA members. The Register provides user comments and ratings against a range of functions and performance issues and will be of interest to all members.**

The ERTOA committee has initiated action to seek a review of the AQTF 2010 requirement for the collection, storage and reporting of AVETMIS compliant data for enterprise RTOs. A copy of the letter from the ERTOA President to the Managing Director of NCVER is attached for information. A copy of the letter has also been sent to the Chair of the National Quality Council.**

ERTOA has developed a comparison table identifying the changes introduced with AQTF 2010 and the implications of those changes for enterprise RTOs. AQTF 2010 introduces a number of what have been described as 'unintended consequences' for enterprise RTOs and these will be addressed during the October round of ERTOA member meetings.**

**The report of the recent member survey addressing the ability of members to collect and report AVETMISS learner demographic data has been released. The report will help inform discussion about the definition of ‘AVETMISS-compliant data’ associated with the introduction of AQTF 2010.**

**Following detailed discussion with ERTOA the Victorian Registering Authority (VRQA) has agreed the recently introduced VRQA Guidelines present some ‘unintended consequences’ for enterprise RTOs. Based upon these discussions ERTOA has provided member RTOs registered with VRQA with a recommended approach to enable them to sign the required Statutory Declaration in ‘good faith’ by 1 July 2010.**
